Swizerland’s hottest new techno talent, Mike Schuhmacher is gearing up to unleash his first single onto the UK market with the finely crafted “Back Home” featuring Dr. May.
“Critical”, his collaboration with house giants Phunk Investigation, won the top spot on the Beatport overall chart, was their number 5 track overall in 2012 and found support from the likes of A-Trak, Arty, Chuckie, Dirty South, Nervo, Roger Sanchez and Hoxton Whores. “From The Dust”, also with Phunk Investigation, grabbed the number 1 slot in the Beatport Techno chart and was named Beatport’s Techno track of the year 2012.
Radio support for Schuhmacher’s “Drop Your P’s”, also featuring Doctor May came from 1Xtra’s Charlie Sloth, whilst Nervo dropped his track “Let’s Go” on their Radio 1 residency show.
